A primary research study was undertaken with households in the iLembe District Municipality in 2023.
The purpose of the study was to identify stockpiles of WEEE, current WEEE management practices and preferences for WEEE disposal.
The results of this survey provide all stakeholders in the WEEE management space to gain a deeper understanding of the current trends and habits of households to inform awareness activities and better understand how WEEE collection can be improved.
