International E-Waste Day is an annual awareness campaign that is initiated by the WEEE Forum and its members, which takes place each year on the 14th October. It aims to highlight the growing issue of electronic waste and promote responsible e-waste management.
WEEE are SA has, and will continue to promote the various collection events that are organised by PROs, recyclers and community organisations in South Africa that aim to create awareness and divert e-waste from landfill.
WEEE are SA compiled a list of the e-waste collection drives that were being undertaken by partners and assisted to promote this far and wide.
